What if- a poem

What if all our most troubling issues,
were really blessings pointing us Home?!

Steps vainly taken in search of more,
unnecessary strides out the door.

What if anything found took us back in;
what if pain, anger, and sadness were kin?

And chaos, dis-ease and insanity,
seen as requests to stop and just be.

What if our gaze never turned from the Light?!
Not knowing whether it was day or night.

What if life lived you from the inside out;
always trusting, never following doubt.
